Response to Gaza Emergency Appeal

The Palestine Trauma Centre (UK) is announcing the immediate release of our Response to Gaza Emergency Appeal.

Following on from the atrocious acts of 7th October 2023, the civilian population of Gaza has been trapped without agency between between the actions of the two sides in a conflict that they are subject to, but not responsible for.

Palestine Trauma Centre (UK) provides psychological support and relief to the children and citizens of Gaza, offering support, therapy and programmes designed to prevent children from falling into the arms of the radical minority who are responsible for the current situation to which they are afflicted.

On the 9th of October 2023, our clinic and therapy centre became collateral damage in an Israeli air strike, leaving the clinic ruined and Palestine Trauma Centre (UK) with no standing base of operation within Gaza from which to deliver our vital services.

Some of our team in Gaza have lost members of their families, including wives and children with many more having lost their homes and possessions. They are trying to make sense of the damage and loss that surrounds them. Despite this, the Palestine Trauma Centre (UK) and our Gaza team are struggling to deliver services within the Gaza strip, trying to offer a glimmer of hope amongst the death and destruction wrought upon innocent people.

We urgently need you to help the children and families of Gaza

Our Response to Gaza Emergency Appeal, urgently needs your help in supporting us to provide emergency aid on the ground. We need your support to re-establish the delivery of services that will be so vital in the support of traumatised children within the Gaza community as well as their families.

We ask you to donate to our Emergency Appeal. Every penny of your valuable donations no matter how small or large will be used to help those in desperate need. With it we aim to reconstruct the Palestine Trauma Centre to support our mission of providing care long after this horrendous conflict has passed.

Palestine Trauma Centre (UK) is a UK based charity that works to provide adults and children living within the Gaza strip with access to psychological support and mental health services.

Funds donated to our emergency appeal will be used to provide direct relief to the population of the Gaza strip, to support the reconstruction and restoration of our services within the Gaza strip or to provide staff training and remuneration to our team on the ground in Gaza.

Palestine Trauma Centre (UK) is a registered UK charity (1133560) with the Charities Commission of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and is registered with the Fundraising Regulator.
